About Me.

My work explores the tension between fantasy and reality through sculpture, photography, performance, and object-making. I am interested in the ways identity is constructed, performed, and negotiated through the objects, images, and systems that surround us. Drawing from fashion, technology, futurism, and popular culture, I create works that function as artifacts from speculative worlds—objects that feel familiar yet subtly displaced.

Many of my projects examine the collision between the organic and the synthetic, attraction and discomfort, desire and control. Hybrid flowers rendered in industrial materials, souvenirs from imagined futures, and altered images become vehicles for exploring humanity’s impulse to reshape nature, manufacture identity, and continually pursue visions of what comes next. I am particularly interested in moments where the familiar becomes strange, revealing the assumptions and systems hidden beneath everyday experience.

Underlying much of my work is an interest in contemporary forms of monstrosity. Rather than depicting monsters directly, I investigate the monstrous qualities embedded within social, technological, and economic structures: surveillance, exploitation, consumerism, and humanity’s capacity to work against its own interests. Humor, glamour, and visual seduction often serve as entry points, drawing viewers into works that gradually reveal more unsettling questions.

Whether confronting viewers with beauty, absurdity, discomfort, or recognition, I aim to create experiences that challenge certainty and invite reflection on the worlds we inhabit and the worlds we are actively creating.
